Adapta Software Inc. is the developer of the AdaptAccounts family of adaptable accounting software applications. Adapta Software was founded in 1986 to develop the AdaptAccounts line of advanced source code database accounting applications and bring the benefits of modern database software technologies to these traditional applications. AdaptAccounts began shipping in 1987 and AdaptAccounts Client/Server database accounting solutions began shipping in 1998. The company is committed to enhancing, extending and supporting this application family on Microsoft SQL Server. AdaptAccounts is installed in distribution, manufacturing and service companies in the U.S.A. and internationally.

AdaptAccounts

AdaptAccounts is a modular family of adaptable, integrated database accounting applications with source code for Microsoft SQL Server. 

AdaptAccounts versions previously supported various other databases such as Oracle and InterBase/Firebird. However, with the continuing advances in Microsoft SQL Server both technically and in market demand, focus going forward is Microsoft SQL Server.

AdaptAccounts currently supports SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2000. AdaptAccounts for SQL Server 2008 is planned for release in 2008.

AdaptAccounts server-side programming takes extensive advantage of database server programming capabilities using triggers, stored procedures and functions. This provides both improved performance plus cost-effective adaptability and maintainability.

AdaptAccounts client-side programming is implemented in Borland's Delphi - a leader in high-performance database RAD (Rapid Application Development) tools. Using this powerful software development technology enables AdaptAccounts to be adapted quickly and economically. 

AdaptAccounts modular applications includes System Manager, General Ledger & Financial Reporter, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Currency Manager, Inventory, Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Job Costing, Bill of Materials and U.S. Payroll. Applications fully integrate with each other but applicable modules may also be installed independently. These applications can be easily integrated with other locally developed applications and provide extensive facilities to support entity and transaction importing.
